I’m grateful this article mentions rising hostility towards mask wearers as a reason people stay home. We refuse to adopt clean air policies that would make public spaces safer - giving folks no option but to mask. If they face anger & aggression - it’s no wonder they stay home.

Personally, I don't want to keep masking for the rest of my life, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to (& have to). This really fucking sucks.
