And we have our first chick... we can't wait for all the children to meet them tomorrow. Unfortunately the camera shut down just after 8pm. We will try and rectify this tomorrow.

All chicks have hatched and are slowly moving into their new home with food and water. The children and staff have been fascinated by the whole process. The buzz around the school has been wonderful. We would like to thank the HSA for helping us organise this experience.

One of our chicks sleeping in one our year 6 hands. Snuggled up. We love that so many of our year 6 children keep coming down in their breaks to spend time with our chicks.

On Monday we kicked started the week with Mill Cottage Farm. All the children came out to meet these gorgeous animals and started the week with such a wonderful experience.

Today we say farewell to our chicks who are off back to the farm this morning. The children have been so excited to explore the lifecycle from egg to chick.

Well done to Year 3 & 4 Cricket Team for winning the REFSPECT Award (always our favourite award to win) for displaying respect, fair play and positive support to the other teams. This award is voted for by the children at the event and therefore a true reflection of the children
