Delighted to be in Barcelona for the The Marcé Society conference to present ROSHNI2. Registered and presentation uploaded, checked and ready for tomorrow! Fingers crossed it goes smoothly! LSCFT Research Team
Proud moment! Presenting later this afternoon but a brilliant programme this morning and currently sitting in a session focused on Muslim women's perinatal mental health experiences. Excited for all the learning to come this week! LSCFT Research Team
Another brilliant talk #marce2024 on experiences of perinatal Muslim women in the US. Another example of spiritually focused interventions & lots to learn at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust on the importance of curiosity - getting to know the people you are supporting and what is important to them
Dr Sam Burton King's College London highlights disparities in both access and engagement with mental health care between ethnic minority groups. #marce2024. Important to look at deprivation when understanding engagement with care and track engagement from when people first present
🧵 We are NOW RECRUITING for our project on PULMONARY REHABILITATION. If you are from a SOUTH ASIAN background and have been diagnosed with #COPD, you might be interested in participating. If you are interested, please email [email protected] [1 of 3]
Heather O'Mahen continuing the ESMI II flag talking about linked datasets focusing on diversity and equality in accessing perinatal mental health care
Fantastic talk and lessons to learn about recruiting south Asian women to the ROSHNI trial - “Are people hard to reach or are they easy to ignore” Farah Lunat
Great end to the symposium with fab work in Michigan with person centred care for mental health Maria Muzik
Aside from balancing on my heels (why?!), loved presenting ydy & grateful for the most wonderful feedback & conversations on exciting collaborations and next steps. Thank you to Antoinette Davey & Heather O'Mahen for including ROSHNI2 on their symposium. Gelato to end of course!
Day 3 in beautiful Barcelona and listening to Dr Monk Dr. Catherine Monk, Perinatal Pathways Lab on the mother-infant dyad in perinatal mental health.
Our Research Ops Manager Farah Lunat has been attending The Marcé Society Conference this week, to present on 🌸𝐑 𝐎 𝐒 𝐇 𝐍 𝐈 - 𝟐🌸 a 'Multicentre randomised controlled trial of a group psychological intervention for postnatal depression in British South Asian Mothers' : ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/P…
A great morning of learning at The Marcé Society conference from the US, Nottingham and Greece. Such valuable research happening globally and we need to come together to look at implementation in practice and learning the quick wins to make a difference to pathways of care
#Marce2024 is in a beautiful area allowing me time to explore beautiful Barcelona in between the amazing learning this week. Beyond grateful for the opportunities the research world has given me Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust LSCFT Research Team. Final day tomorrow with 2 keynotes to attend!
