Don't look away from the engineering of this road, from the policy decisions & systemic conditions that have resulted, predictably, in homelessness, sidewalklessness, & death. Our Land Use+Transportation policies are intimately linked. We can start changing these💔outcomes TODAY.

If safety comes first, prioritize building a connected and protected bike network. A helmet won’t do a dang thing to save my life if I’m hit by a driver because I don’t have a safe, protected place to ride.
