In many township schools, agriculture often remains an overlooked subject due to limited resources and exposure. my aim to bridge this gap by offering students opportunities to engage directly with the agricultural process, fostering a deeper understanding.

Back to the field, Doing weed control and top dressing where necessary. Some parts have yellow maize from previous season we had to extract to avoid cross pollination on white maize 🌽🌽

When everything seems to be going well there will be that one thing that messes up the whole progress. I was thrilled for the rain but the wind had other plans. It blew up the roof right into the maize field causing more damage. This Valentine can I please have Zinc as a gift😭

Visited a farm that practices regenerative agriculture in Reitz . It might not seem practical but I loved the system they operate on especially on livestock. They don’t have any vaccination plan, no medication or any form of dipping, UNBELIEVABLE !! Shocking but interesting.

🪡 As a farmer, being productive and profitable largely depends on the choices and decisions you make. Whether you're selecting a bull for your herd, choosing a seed cultivar, or even deciding on the right bakkie for your farm, performance should be your top priority.

I attended the Gauteng Funding symposium by Gauteng Enterprise Propeller there were so many financial institution with funding opportunities for different sectors and Sme’s. One thing most of them preached was compliance. Once you register a business ensure your documents are in place. 😉

Had a panel at the African Farming imbizo on managing hurdles to financial access and the struggles we face in accessing fund in the agricultural sector as youth. We face many red tapes and criteria’s that do not accommodate us. The process and what banks need to fund us
