A few days ago I started building a Go project for an internship. I know backend in Node.js/Python (not super solid) + some Go (used it for Telegram bots). Tried making a full microservice in Go but failed miserably. Lesson: Need to properly learn backend first.

Here's how I forked Eth (and Base) Mainnet in Chainlink's CCIP Local Simulator and tested sending $LINK as a token transfer itself and for fees. I apologize for the length but wanted to explain everything I could. Hopefully it's useful to others who need that specific test env.
