This week at Sanford Creek…SanfordCreek ES We are continuing to celebrate our school and all the ways we practice showing love, kindness, and unity. Each student wrote what unity means to them on a paper link and we worked hard with Leigh Dillistin to pull this amazing piece together!

The smiles after performing in Pieces Of Gold 2023….priceless! My hope is that this experience with the arts will carry on with my 5th grade students into middle school and beyond!

The more I see the impact of music on young people, the more it’s undeniably apparent that we need more music in our schools. Not just for their learning, or their health and wellbeing, or their sense of belonging, but for the impact it has on the future of the world around us.
