🚨🚧 Highway 101 between Marsh and Willow Roads in Menlo Park are closed now until ~6pm to repair downed power lines that have kept thousands of residents without power since Tuesday's wind storms. Please use alternate routes as Pacific Gas & Electric works to restore power services.

Menlo Park and EPA city halls (701 Laurel Rd and 2415 University Ave) are both offering warming/charging stations until 8 or 8:30 tonight. Menlo may extend its hours and is offering hotel stays to those who are still without power. menlopark.gov/News-articles/…

Menlo Park City Manager Justin Murphy just walked thru outages, basically, if your power isn't out because of the substation outage, there's probably a tree down in your area. Murphy said there are at least 4 trees that took down wires that still need to be cleared by PG&E

Heads up: this Friday, March 10, the Newell Road bridge will be closed to all traffic between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. to accommodate tree maintenance work by City of East Palo Alto's tree contractor. Please plan ahead and take alternate routes. A detour will be in place.

ROAD CLOSURE: El Camino through Atherton is closed. All traffic traveling NORTHBOUND on El Camino is being diverted onto Watkins Av. All traffic traveling SOUTHBOUND El Camino is being diverted onto Atherton Av. Multiple power lines down on El Camino.

🚨🚧 TONIGHT: Caltrans District 4 cleared Pacific Gas & Electric to shut down all lanes of Hwy 101 for emergency repair of a damaged power line.  Where: between Hillsdale & Ralston, both directions When: starting at 11:00 p.m. 3/21 for ~60 minutes Please plan on using alternate routes Tuesday evening.
