Just started to read the boy who grew dragons with my class today. They loved it, particularly the humour and were gutted when I finished, they can’t wait for the next chapter.

I don’t often tweet but had to today as finished reading the boy who grew dragons Andy Shepherd. The children have been enthralled. A few quotes included ‘it’s amazing’, and ‘I want to read the next book’. Thank you Andy.

My children are my life. At home & work. My grief some know. I post sporadically about it. It is cathartic or helps people understand where I am coming from. Lots of you have met & chatted to me. Know my anxiety & insecurities. I never use my background to gain followers. 1/2

Today I finished reading Sky Song @moontrug to my class and the gasps and giggles from the children as we read the last few chapters was a delight to hear. One child announced it was the best book ever. Thank you Abi for inspiring my writers.

Had a fabulous night out not laughed so much in a long time with all my teaching mates. @abeehkr I keep telling Ceridwen Eccles that I work with someone famous: a real inspiration and totally bonkers too, love her.
