Calling the Thwaites Glacier the “doomsday glacier” makes people feel hopeless in efforts against climate change. We are not helpless victims. Instead, we should showcase ways people are helping combat this issue.

I would love to see more stories about ways people are helping with hurricane recovery. This quote reminds me of our solutions journalism discussions in #EJUF: "Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.” - Fred Rogers.

When NKwanda Jah said “we all breathe the same air” in #EJUF today, it really resonated with me. One of the most beautiful things about the environment is the interconnectedness, which connects us all as people. But that is also why everyone needs to protect it.
