Fewer than 2 days into the job and Administrator Zeldin is already threatening jobs and jeopardizing infrastructure projects in communities nationwide by rubber stamping Trump’s devastating and illegal funding freezes. Sheldon Whitehouse and EPW Democrats are demanding answers.

I ran $100 billion in Infrastructure and IRA programs at U.S. EPA. We obligated over $70 billion onto signed awards and contracts to protect public health and the environment. All that funding is currently frozen. Here are the facts… 1/X

1. Donald Trump promised that, as president, he would drastically lower Americans' energy bills. But hundreds of Alabama residents are receiving a $100 surcharge on their energy bills as a direct result of Trump's actions in the White House.

Weird how the latest sinister "find" by Musk and DOGE, which is being pushed hard by right wing media, was loudly advertised right on the WH website under Biden and turns out not to appear at all controversial

The EV consumer tax credit has been an obsession of Trump and Republicans because their oil donors are desperate to kill the competition and maintain their monopoly. But it has been a big factor in America’s EV manufacturing boom, and killing it will kill jobs, full stop.

GOP raising energy costs = big mistake. “Congress may put this tax credit on the chopping block. That would be a big mistake… Eliminating the 25C tax credit would mean fewer options for homeowners, higher taxes for families, lost business opportunities for contractors like me.”

Now that the text is out, it's clear Senate Republicans are STILL planning to gut clean energy tax credits. The sabotage is the same, just on a **marginally** slower timeline. Don't buy their spin––the credits are still functionally useless.

I was sent this by a Georgian this morning. 2025 premiums vs 2026 premiums for someone making $65k a year. Republicans in Washington did this. This is what I'm fighting to stop. This is what’s at stake in this shutdown fight.
