Sarah C. DeSilvey, DNP, FNP (she/her) I think “pay us more” is the only language a lot of people deeply steeped in capitalism can understand ☹️ Taking the next step into “actually, I would like to not be treated poorly and have a nice human life outside of work” is much more radical

I’m so annoyed with the perception that illness is something you can fix with enough willpower. It’s very boomer-esq “pull up by your bootstraps” and implies that it’s a moral failing to be sick. No thanks, bye.

One of those incidental omicron deaths that the CDC doesn’t care about was my step-dad’s father. He died last week at 93. Triple vaxxed and living independently. It enrages me and breaks my heart simultaneously.

Can the provider who told my patient that surgical management of her ectopic will make her sterile just not? Pls consult me instead. Thx.

my occasional rant pleading everyone NOT to hold OCP refills hostage so ppl come in and gets a cancer screening or wellness visit 🙃🙃🙃 OCPs should be OTC & we know this. please consider the ethics of withholding a generous refill (1 year) on medication that should be OTC

Been doing this since my family planning rotation. “The most effective contraception is the one you’ll use.” It’s just my job to tell you about it.
