So let’s talk about #honeybees in the context of ‘Saving the Bees’. Let’s cut the bull & cut to the chase as there’s way too much confusion/misinformation out there which is a hinderance to & detrimental to genuine bee saving. Please #retweet to help the bees that need it! 1/17

Very few stories make me say “fuuuuck” out loud but this is one of them. Two sides to every story and all that but this is pretty shocking reading. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-654289…

Can't explain how ridiculously excited I am to find this orchid in my shaggy lawn / meadow! Common spotted orchid I think. Unfortunately right in the middle of what is normally a mown path - the path will have to go! #NoMowMay

Had the pleasure of showing the Mansion House bee hives to guests from Bees Abroad today. Some of their trustees attended as part of a #worldbeeday charity auction event prize. Afterwards we had tea and pleasant conversation with the Lady Mayoress Lord Mayor of London, Alastair King City of London

Late night conversation with 7 y old - where did viruses first come from, does everyone turn into a skeleton, where do the skeletons go, do children ever die and turn into skeletons #raisingagoth

I read up about how viruses might have originated/why we don’t know much about them, explained to 7 year old and said “Does that make sense?” A: “No. where did viruses come from?” 😅

Just went to give Tommy (7 y old) a cuddle as he has chickenpox. Got asked “do you want to do your own things?”. I said “oh… I’m going to read my book”. “Can you do it somewhere else?”. Nice to be… not wanted 😆

Thank you Sir Michael Marmot for your presentation at the Victor Horsey lecture The BMA. 1. Austerity is a political choice. 2. Dutch 5 year old children are now 7cm taller than the UK, a consequence of poor diet, poverty and stress. 3. Tragically, our children will have fewer

Kate North 🤣 Reminds me of the time my grandmother left my grandfather with their two small children for a week. She returned to they had adopted a duck who was now living in the bath and Grandpa sprinkling cornflakes in the tub as he showered. 🦆🛀🏽
