As the next coffee break is approaching, make sure to visit the booths of our sponsors! Springer Chemistry MBRAUN Royal Society of Chemistry Omnilab @https://chempur.de/ #EuroBIC17

📢Have you got any exciting research in the field of photoswitches or photopharmacology? Submit to our joint collection with OBC, guest edited by Martina Cacciarini (Università di Firenze), Nadja Simeth (Uni Göttingen), Wiktor Szymanski (University of Groningen) & Andrew Woolley (University of Toronto)

We're approaching the coffee break here at EFMC-ISMC, make sure to stop by the Royal Society of Chemistry and RSC Medicinal Chemistry booth at stand 12 to have a chat💡

Drop by the Royal Society of Chemistry booth (stand 12) at #EFMCISMC24 today to chat about publishing, the 2025 RSC Medicinal Chemistry Lectureship and our latest themed collections! You can also grab yourself some RSC goodies😍

Look out for RSC Medicinal Chemistry Editorial Board members, Lyn Jones, Hayley Binch and Maria Duca, at the EFMC-ISMC this week! Make sure you chat with them about their themed collections that are open for submissions and more about what's coming up for our journal👀

🚨Nominations for the 2025 RSC Medicinal Chemistry Emerging Investigator Lectureship are open! This is open to anyone within 12 yrs post-PhD, working independently in the field of medicinal chemistry. More details here: rsc.org/journals-books… Nominations close 31 October 2024‼

Check out my latest Chemistry World article on a recent study by Sebastian Kozuch Comp Chem 🎗️🟠 and Sindy Julieth Rodríguez which uncovered that benzene isomers previously deemed stable, are in fact completely unsynthesisable due to quantum tunnelling instability💡👇 chemistryworld.com/news/quantum-t…

Check out Emily Cuffin-Munday's new Chemistry World story about supposedly stable benzene isomers, based on recent work by Sebastian Kozuch Comp Chem 🎗️🟠 and Sindy Julieth Rodríguez (doi.org/10.1039/D4SC05…)! Great job, Emily!

Given benzene’s prominence, it is surprising that a reason has not yet surfaced for why so many hypothesised isomers have not been isolated. Now, researchers believe that for tricyclic benzene isomers, at least, quantum tunnelling could be partly to blame. chemistryworld.com/news/quantum-t…

🌟Inspired by yesterday's The Nobel Prize news? Want to read more about the use of AI in chemistry❓ Check out our latest themed collection on AI in medicinal chemistry guest edited by Jian Zhang , Ola Engkvist and Gerhard Hessler👇 pubs.rsc.org/en/journals/ar…
