Today, I supervised the cleanup exercise for Aba and Umuahia, which commenced yesterday. I wish to thank all those working pro-bono to ensure that our towns are clean, and all who braved the rain to give effect to the directive we gave two days ago,

Today, Abia state Governor, H.E, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR declared an emergency on the cleanup of Aba and Umuahia. He flagged off the sanitation exercise in Aba. Gov Otti thanked all those who defiled the rain and those working pro-bono to ensure that Abia cities are clean.

Abia State Deputy Governor, His Excellency Engr Ikechukwu Emetu was on ground to enforce the ban on collection of transportation levies on commercial buses and tricycles (keke) in the state.
