George Gay (1917 - 1994) was an exceptional U.S. Navy aviator in WWII. He bravely fought in the Battle of Midway as part of Torpedo Squadron Eight, where he was the lone survivor. He was recognized for his exceptional service and inducted into the Georgia Aviation Hall of Fame.
