Teacher leaders showed us how to use layered text & video clips to preview essential vocab for the W&W module. First a splash of all the words go on the circle map. Then on the tree map into categories. Next, students use this resource for sentence construction.

Kinders at JES today mapped out their butterflies from the Symbolic Monarch Migration Project. We #appsmashed ChatterPix and Padlet to create this amazing map of all the butterflies they collected from North America!

We are lucky to get to work with Bryan Tompkins at US Fish and Wildlife to help us transform our empty spaces into vibrant sanctuaries for pollinators. This was a great hands on experience that teaches our students about environmental stewardship. Im thankful for this partnership!
