Meeting with a recent widower this morning. These meetings always tug at the heart strings and put an all stop on everything else that needs to be done at the office. Praying for healing and closure to the family and kids.

I’m doing taxes at home and my son (6) is home sick today. He just woke up from a two hour nap and I just turned on Star Wars - A New Hope. Hoping to get through the trilogy by the end of the weekend if this goes well.

Day 7 at home with both kids having the flu. They’ve finally started watching non-animated kids movies and this feels like a breakthrough.

My business partner’s son is ski jumping today at the Olympics in Italy and of course he attended. Quick reminder that we have lives outside of our tax profession. Go Jason!
