#000 - nightbitch by rachel yoder, this was my first book i didn’t finish this year, it managed to make a story about a woman who thinks she’s turning into a dog SO BORING, i got ab 100 pages in and NOTHING HAD HAPPENED 2/10

#049 - from blood and ash by jennifer l armentrout, i tried to recapture the magic of acotar w this and it didn’t quite work, such a predictable twist that i forgot it was a twist and the world building took so long but the back half was pretty good 7.7/10

#050 - bibliolepsy by gina apostol, this was an interesting quick read about a avid reader coming of age during the philippines revolution, written more as pieces put together to make a whole rather than one continuing narrative, didn’t really hold my attention 7.5/10

#051- crescent city 1 by sarah j maas, i can’t believe i’m gonna say it but i liked this one more than acotar. there’s a lot of world building to get through (i mean it’s 800pgs for a reason) but it’s totally worth it, loved the characterization of the main players 9.5/10

#052- rhapsodic by laura thalassa, pretty disappointing, it was hard not to compare it to crescent city since i finished them so close together, but it just wasn’t executed as well, it was a fun quick read if you want fantasy romance u don’t have to think too hard ab 7.5/10

#053-tender is the flesh by agustina bazterrica, great but you would have to put a gun to my head to get me to read it again, i’ve never felt so sick reading a book which is a testament to the authors writing, more upsetting than you assume a book ab cannibalism would be 7.9/10
