We have a terrorism problem in America. It is home grown. It is white. It is based on supremacy. It is not from ISIS. It is not from Islam. It is not from immigrants. It is the most dangerous epidemic according to FBI. And it isn't being shamed. #StochasticTerrorism

Toni Morrison was a national treasure, as good a storyteller, as captivating, in person as she was on the page. Her writing was a beautiful, meaningful challenge to our conscience and our moral imagination. What a gift to breathe the same air as her, if only for a while.

This narrative — that the President will beat COVID-19 because he is strong and a fighter — is 200000 plus insults. Those who have died didn’t do so because they were lacking the will. It was because our government was weak in its response and didn’t fight for them.
