It’s not your fault that you make people feel like shit when you continue to grind regardless. Never allow anyone to deter you from giving your all. There is no secret to this. It is just having the will to want more. Stay hard!

Joined a writers group and shared a line of my memoir. The positive response was overwhelming and encouraging. Except for one person…but there’s always one person isn’t there? I love constructive criticism but don’t be a Karen.

Sometimes I finish a chapter, read over it, and ask myself, “why did you spend so much of your life putting up with this crap?” I’m pretty sure it was purely so I could write about it later.

First draft milestone today; 40,000 words.

Fellow authors - is it ok to have a chapter in your first draft that ends with “fuck it. I’ll come back to this”?

I do believe I may have my rough draft completed by the end of this year :)
