Note the language of this announcement: “360HS is <<proposed>> to close” // “the <<potential>> closure of 360” — 1. This fight is not over. 2. Remember when Providence Public Schools lied and called it a merger? What other lies will be exposed at this meeting?

360 Social Studies teachers have been publicly fighting to #save360hs. Four of them (the entire department) applied to three available positions at JSEC, where they could continue to teach 360 students. None received an interview. Coincidence? 🧐

I want to thank @DavidMoralesRI for your leadership and supporting our students in Providence. We will continue to fight and save 360 high school.

The State Tournament delivers another incredible finish. Classical beats La Salle, 67-66, to take the state crown. One of the most fun games I’ve seen.

“The Providence School Board vehemently opposes the closure or merger of 360 High School and strongly urges the exploration of alternative measures to sustain its continued operation” Providence Public Schools board votes on this resolution at Weds. 3/20 6pm meeting. The community needs this.

Reminder to all the friends of 360HS out there- Providence City Council meets this Thursday, 3/28 at 6PM with only one thing on the agenda: discussion of the proposed closure of 360. We’re going to be there. Make a plan to be there with us to show your support!

360 High School community (students, teachers & parents) passionately filled the Council Chamber & expressed concern for the school's planned closure this year. Councilors asked tough questions of PVD Public Schools leadership. RIDE's Commissioner was invited but did not attend.

In a surprise to no one who is familiar with Friends of 360 HS, our staff and students continue to excel, with our school winning Top High School Project at RI Civics Day and Caleigh Rockwal winning the Teacher Changemaker award via Sabina Matos

Our last graduating class. The ceremony was beautiful, powerful & bittersweet. For 7 years I worked with an amazing admin & staff, I can’t thank them enough. I guess it’s true that all good things come to an end. I will hold this school & all of the memories in my heart forever.

This survey is confusing and misleading, and to say that it is not family- or community-facing is an understatement. The only upside is that we can rate the state takeover “poor” in so many different ways.
