Yes, boys and girls. We are now in a world where astrophysicists can debate epistemology with frozen beef. And the beef has a point. Science is "true" in the same sense that Steak-umm is "steak": defensible, but missing a lot of nuance--and likely leading to disappointment.

The medical field is full of racism, fatphobia, ableism, etc. However, to say that these issues justify turning to alternative medicines whose effectiveness and safety has no basis in fact is a complete non sequitur. The one does not follow from the other.
