getting back on my 'local gov is amazing!' BS to shout out the Philadelphia Fire for coming to install new smoke detectors in our house! super easy to submit a 311 request and get this taken care of for free!

wild experience at Wawa on 34th & market where they're piloting a mostly app based ordering store - no more grab & go convenience area! coffee station is the only thing the customer gets on their own, all sandwiches & specialty drinks get ordered on the kiosk - RIP soft pretzels

on this incredibly important election day, i hit my goal of being the *1st voter at my polling place* & the test case for the new electronic sign in process (v smooth!)

i'm excited about the future of our city...and can't wait for this election cycle to be over

last week for dinner i made a roasted veggie / crispy halloumi / israeli couscous bowl that my kid said was 'deeeesgusting' and tonight we had kraft mac & cheese with frozen peas and carrots which she declared 'so delicious' so that's parenting for you
