Protest is essential to our movement work & must be protected. We firmly stand against antisemitism being used as an excuse to threaten free speech & criticism of university and US policy. To be clear, criticism of American policy towards Israel is not inherently antisemitic.

I cannot overstate how dangerous this is. If you think that the US government should treat these students the way they are treating Hamas and Hezbollah, you are basically saying there is no level of violence that is off-limits.

I've seen no credible reporting of actual antisemitic incidents at the UT Austin protest. What I can tell you is that I've reported on numerous neo-Nazi events and Greg Abbott never once tried to put any of them in jail.
