Thanks, Sean Van Koughnett for expressing support for Follow @HamOntBikeShare. It is an incredibly vital service to the McMaster University community. Over 86,000 trips recorded to/from campus! So many health, environmental, and social benefits contributed to Hamilton. Bike share must continue!

Monday's #BikeToWorkDay celebrations may have been postponed, but progress for cycling accelerated with #ActiveTO announcements, a unanimous motion in City of Waterloo and more. Check out our latest blog post: buff.ly/3gjcFdT Cycle Toronto CycleWR Elise Desjardins

Any #HamOnt healthcare providers out there who've recommended patients or clients to Follow @HamOntBikeShare's Everyone Rides Initiative program? Please consider calling and/or emailing council to let them know how important #SoBi is to you!

A step towards ensuring we save Sobi! Thank you Nrinder Nann! #HamOnt

Now on The Bill Kelly Show: After a marathon session, Hamilton City Council has denied the lifeline to the city's Follow @HamOntBikeShare bike share program. @ChmlBillKelly chats with Elise Desjardins Grad Student McMaster University who studies cycling in #HamOnt LISTEN: player.900chml.com

My heart is heavy. I am very disappointed and frustrated. 26,000 users rely on Follow @HamOntBikeShare for essential trips, many of whom do not have access to a bike otherwise. To vote against interim funding and to take away 900 bikes during a bike shortage in a pandemic is so wrong.

We’re waking to welcome news thanks Follow @HamOntBikeShare and their many supporters ($ and otherwise) a Merulla/Collins reconsideration motion and generous 100k Patrick J McNally Charitable Foundation grant - this Wed, council can keep Sobis on the road.

This Wednesday, Council will vote again to provide an interim solution to operating bike share in #hamont. This is possible thanks to the community that has stepped up and the incredible work of Everyone Rides Initiative. Reach out to your councillor and continue to share your support!
