Just watched Project Hail Mary. For 2 hours I genuinely couldn’t tell if it was shot on film or digital. Very clever (and rare for a blockbuster): shot digitally → printed to film → re-scanned for texture. Anamorphic + vintage lenses = imperfections, flares, character
