After the chaos of the last 3 days (all because of one little graphic), this feels like a calm enough moment to say that the f&%kery going on in the oceans is Global and not just is the North Atlantic. The North Atlantic anomaly is 3.55σ. The Global ocean anomaly is 4.30σ.
