Why #MarthasRule matters: 🧵 In September 2023, at one week old, our little baby boy presented with a high temperature but otherwise seemed well. We attended a local ED with the expectation that he’d receive a lumbar puncture and blood cultures.

Today is #WorldSleepDay. The challenges that shift-workers face with sleep, and the consequent fatigue, present a very real risk in ambulance services, for staff and the public. So, ambulance colleagues, it's time for me to share these posters again. #FightFatigue #CATNAPS

If we have positive assumptions about people with Down syndrome, we'll give them more opportunities. And maybe these positive assumptions will become reality. #AssumeThatICan #WDSD24 #WorldDownSyndromeDay #EndTheStereotypes

When George was born with #DownSyndrome, we asked the consultant Leeds Teaching Hospitals what he would be able to do when he was older. “who knows? Just enjoy your beautiful baby and let’s see.” Good advice. Just look what he has done now 😁 #Nibbies #britishbookawards #ThisIsMe

A brilliant three days hosted by Royal College of Paramedics - starting with the research conference on Tuesday and then 2 days of the general conference. I feel absolutely inspired & very proud to be a paramedic… it was overwhelming to have so many drivers of change in a room together!
