As powerful as Val was, he still couldn’t exactly keep up with this demonic deer form and so, was knocked out finally by Alastor.
Not too long after, Val’s RoboFizz, Kitty, came into the lounge with a dolly that held a new TV for Vox, as well as a box of various tools.
Possibly the only time Vox would let himself show such a gentle and awed expression.
“H-holy shit… It’s so… tiny,” he breathed softly, hands hovering as if afraid to touch the baby.
Given the reassurance, Vox sighed and nodded a bit, gripping onto Alastor. The deer was the only one now he could be vulnerable around, and it showed as Vox frowned and laid back on the couch.
“Stay here with me…?” he murmured, already tugging Alastor to lay beside him.
Vox eagerly kissed back, and then chuckled, cupping Alastor’s face in his hands.
“Hey. No tears. Got it? You’re not holding me back or anything like that. I love you, too. I’m not stuck in the past, either. You’re my future~”
Another kiss was given.
“Let’s head home.”
“Sure, sure,” Box sighed, knowing there was no changing Al’s mind on that. As they headed out, they passed Val still knocked out. Vox frowned.
“I knew he was shit ages ago, but this is getting old…” he muttered. Vox’s car was already waiting outside for them.
Another nod given as he pulled Alastor closer to his side when they got into the car.
“Just a bit tired, but that’s to be expected,” Vox told the other and as the car started driving, he moved himself into Alastor’s lap to kiss him fully.
