One ordinary monday: —> Submitting 40 Insect Biome Atlas samples for metagenomics and —>2 amplicon libraries for NovaSeq sequencing to SciLifeLab, and —> Starting python programing course SciLifeLab in Uppsala 😳 On top of that, this mushroom...
Today submitting Insect Biome Atlas libraries for NovaSeq sequencing at NGI Sweden. Not one but TWO runs! Metabarcoding of 1380 insect community samples from Madagascar! Wouldn’t have happened without Madagascar Biodiversity Center and Piotr Łukasik
Pre-Christmas visit to Piotr Łukasik s Lab. Getting ready for our Insect Biome Atlas trip to Madagascar Biodiversity Center in January 🪳🪲🪰🦗🦋
Go! Go! Go! Preping for the DNA barcoding with MinION at Madagascar Biodiversity Center next week! Madagascar Biodiversity Center Oxford Nanopore Insect Biome Atlas

🔥Spoiled with two cutting-edge science🔥 On Thursday, Piotr Łukasik from Poland, and Dr Brian Bahder from the US will talk about #insects #Symbiont #phytoplasma 📆Thursday, February 2nd⏱️ 10AM 📌 MBC Tsimbazaza Join us it is free
Art + Science project kick off at Station Linné today. We’re sorting Insect Biome Atlas samples for individual barcoding.

Really glad I could add my part to this Philosophical Transactions of The Royal Society theme issue about the future of insect monitoring.
How are we going to monitor and protect the most abundant and diverse group of animals on Earth? 🦗Hop into the future of insect monitoring with this Theme Issue of Philosophical Transactions. Thanks @PunksInScience and lifeplan for pulling it together. royalsocietypublishing.org/toc/rstb/2024/…
