Wow this is incredible - what a metaphor reminding us that we should trust ourselves more, most often we do know more than we think and when in those moments of panic with the right reassurance we can perform and defy our own expectations! ❤️

8 years ago I set up FAME Club (Freelance Arty Mums Evenings). It was my way of reaching out to other women who find their own pathways in both creative work and family life. It was a wee balm and a place to make connections and gather inspiration which I still value today. x

It was lovely to be able to be part of this wonderful celebration of all things bold-scotlandcic on Monday. The day, like the organisation, was full of heart, humour, tenacity, courage, curiosity, community and possibility. Here's to another 5 years!

If you’re #visiting a #CareHome, to assess suitability, my advice wld be: Ignore the decor, See past the ‘show’ Don’t fall for immaculate gardens Instead see if ppl look #content, are being heard, are included in #conversations, have ‘stuff’ around them & have outdoor #access.
