Open Interpreter’s Local III is out today. We are building computer-controlling agents that work offline. This is our biggest step forward. - interpreter --local sets up fast, local LLMs. - We are hosting a free inference endpoint. - We are training our own model. ⬤

We're also launching a preview of Artifacts on claude.ai. You can ask Claude to generate docs, code, mermaid diagrams, vector graphics, or even simple games. Artifacts appear next to your chat, letting you see, iterate, and build on your creations in real-time.

Thrilled to introduce Claude 3.5 Sonnet—our most intelligent model yet. This is the first release in our 3.5 model family. Sonnet now outperforms competitor models on key evaluations, at twice the speed of Claude 3 Opus and one-fifth of the cost. The team pulled together

Claude Sonnet 3.5 with Artifacts can also play sound! Using the @elevenlabs API it created a functional AI sound effects generator app, all I did was paste in the API documentation. I'm mind blown 🤯 Anthropic crushed it with this one.

Claude 3.5 Sonnet created this navbar and hero section for me with just one prompt. IMO, its coding and UI abilities seem more capable than GPT-4o. IT'S JUST IMPRESSIVE. It even adds transitions on hover and makes the image responsive 🤯 Prompt below for those who need it 👇

A great illustration of the first-mover effect: nothing happens before the first demo, then once the existential proof is established, everyone else catches up quickly against all odds. Just a year ago, it was unthinkable that any other model would even remotely approach GPT's

Power law events shape history, but forecasting often relies on linear projections. You can't predict power law events in history. You can, however, use linear projections to forecast possible future trends.

It's interesting how every facet of media and news is narrative-driven, not fact- or truth-driven. What's most interesting is seeing how narratives from five years ago have fallen out of favor. But narratives that are currently popular and seen as true will also go out of
