It's gold for Ciara Mageean in Rome. After bronze in 2016 and silver in 2022, she joins Sonia O'Sullivan as the only Irish athletes to win three medals at the Europeans.  They're also the only two to have won individual gold for Ireland in the 90-year history of the event.
