Following the announcement by Gov. Cooper of NC of directives on precautionary steps to limit the spread of COVID-19, the EHST has suspended Sunday programs and platforms till the end of March. The Society is formulating plans for members stay in touch through this period.

The EHST will hold their first video platform via Zoom tomorrow at 1:30 pm. No speaker is scheduled. Just members and friends staying in touch and chatting. Drinking will be encouraged. The next two Sunday's will have speakers. More on that later.

On Sunday 12th April, Prof. Mia Nguyen of UNC will speak on Affordable Housing. The platform program will start at 1:30 pm and will be attended by all via Zoom. Acquisition of Zoom capability by the EHST will bring a degree of normalcy to the Society's activities.
