Pelagic-ing off Tasmania make Scilly look like a trip off Norfolk. In two trips we saw 32 different species of bird including 10 different Albatross species. Some image highlights below; White-Faced Petrel, Cape Petrel, Westland Petrel and Royal Albatross.

Sadly this Female Lesser Spotted Woodoecker lost her partner in late April. She continued to sit on the infertile eggs until the end of May. Today she had moved on. Excellent photo by Ewan Flynn who’s been an enormous help this Spring. LesserSpot Network
