I personally think elementary teachers should be able to wear scrubs if they choose. One reason teachers may not interact and do more physically active learning is they feel restricted by their clothes.

Heading to Stiles Spartans fashioned with a thick #summerstack, LISD Summer Reader of the Week Quinn Gray has worked hard this year to improve his reading skills. His mother Emily said, “It’s fun to see him now, excited to find books related to his interests.” Congrats, Quinn!

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but schools closing due to Covid19 is both necessary for public health AND extremely difficult for working parents. Both can be true simultaneously. Lack of support for working parents is government failure though, NOT school system failure.

COVID Update January 7: We have become the virus country. Of hate, of racism, of denial, of enablers. They didn’t show up yesterday. The odds we face in COVID & in our country are often long, but only because we make them long. 1/

People who don't know any statistics just look at the data. People who know some statistics run hypothesis tests, compute confidence intervals, etc. People who know lots of statistics just look at the data.
