And we finished at the Plaza de España. Everyone was blown away by this amazing building 🤩

Granada here we come! We can’t wait to show the students the beautiful Alhambra Palace

A quick stop for provisions and to try some Spanish delicacies and we are back on the road 🥮

Our main focus in Granada was a tour of the Alhambra palace. What an amazing place! We started with the Generalife (summer house) and gardens and learned where Granada gets its name from 🌳

We saw buildings and rooms of all different styles and time periods, learning how it all came together to create the Palace we visited today.

And we finished in the Palacíos Nazaríes 🤩

The way the building is reflected in the water of the courtyard makes for an excellent photo spot 📸

Then, we headed into the centre to explore Granada's winding streets. How could we come to Spain and not have any churros? 😋

A final night treat - ice creams all round! 🍦 But with one condition... they had to order in Spanish! The workers were impressed and gave them all a "10" (a Spanish A+) for their efforts 👏

We are going to miss having breakfast with views like this 🥐⛱️

This is rare on a school trip... at the airport too early to check in! These guys are just so efficient ✅️ Flight is on time for now, we will keep updating here for our return home

The final day of the Spanish trip was spent exploring the streets of Málaga on a Treasure Hunt 🏴‍☠️💰

The four groups had to work as a team to follow a GPS tracker and crack the clues, whilst getting to see the sights of Málaga city centre on their way 🧭

They even got to take a selfie with Pablo Picasso in his home town 🤳

But there could only be one winner... Well done to Mr Farris' group who found the final treasure chest first and have been given their prize in school today 👏

We enjoyed a jam-packed week of discovering Spanish culture and history whilst also practising our language skills. We even found some time to relax on the beach in the evening. Thank you for an amazing week everyone from Mrs Sumner, Miss Vale, Mr Farris and Mrs Pratt. ¡Adiós! 🇪🇸
