God is present in our lives, if we want him to be. God doesn’t enter into our lives uninvited. He told us this in his word. But, he’s with us when we seek him. There is no better ally to have in your corner. It’s wise to seek God.

God has a purpose for each of us. Our earthly values don’t apply to God. What we may see as an important role, may not be what God sees as significant. Our value to God has no correlation to how people value others. Let’s build relationships with God, and find his purpose for us.

When we think about the times in our lives when we were happy, they probably aren’t about things. But, about moments with people we love. Or, experiences shared. Yet, we spend so much energy in pursuit of things. Jesus showed us the path of life. We just have to follow it.

We aren’t in position to judge one another. We have to know that none of us are righteous on our own. Our righteousness comes from having faith in God. Only God has the right to judge.

God wants us to know his word. It’s beneficial for us to learn what he expects of us, and to build a relationship with him. He also wants us to put his instructions into practice in our lives. When we learn to trust his word, we see the positive impact in our lives

We have to pray to God, to give us a spirit of forgiveness. It’s natural to have people whom who we have disdain for, even hate, because of wrongs committed against us. We commit this against God continuously, yet he forgives. We need to have mercy for others, to receive it

We need to remember there is nothing God isn’t in control of. In all situations we can turn our challenges over to him. We just need to have faith in him. We can come to him with our worries and fears. Once we learn to trust God, a peace comes to us in those situations.

God told us to see through spirit, not our eyes. I think everyone wants to see, or feel, God’s presence. It’s like we hope to see the burning bush, or a sea part for us. But, I know that I see evidence of God answering me when I pray to him. Pray to God to be attuned to him

Faith is a major part of our relationship with God. He requires that we see with our spirit, not just our eyes. When we place our faith in God, we see how prevalent he is in our lives. It’s impossible to please God w/o it, but thru it we obtain all the promises of him

We are lucky to serve a God who is merciful and doesn’t require perfection. God forgives us when we admit our sins and ask for it. However, he expects us to extend this same grace to each other. We can’t be harder on one another than God is to us.

This is an important message from God to us. We see it throughout scripture. We are reconciled to God. We only have to ask for forgiveness, and God forgives. If God has reconciled all of us to himself, what right do we have to not reconcile others whom have offended us?

This world values things differently than God. God wants us to study is word, and prioritize what’s important to him. We have to pray to God to give us the discipline to follow his spirit, and learn what he expects of us.

Jesus told us that God implores us to love one another. This act encompasses all of the commandments. It’s a wonderful decree, but isn’t easy without being intentional. We have to desire to do this. Pray to God to send his spirit to help.

Eternity is an abstract concept for us. Only natural as we’ve only witnessed expiration dates for everything on this planet. Our bodies will expire, our souls won’t. In this world we will experience pain. It’s part of our journey, as God prepares us for eternity. Trust him.

A big step to getting to know God, is to learn his word. This helps in our building a relationship with him. Part of building this relationship, & pleasing God, is to apply what we learn of his word in our lives. Pray to understand what he shares with us in his word, & apply it.
