Andrea Ortiz (Weslaco) launched a walk-off grand slam in the bottom of the seventh inning, securing the Panthers' first-ever state title and earning her MVP honors. 🥎🎖️

Down to its last at-bat, Weslaco scored eight runs in the bottom of the seventh, capped off by a walk-off grand slam, to win its first-ever state championship, 11-9, over Waco Midway in the 6A #UILState Softball Championship Game. Congratulations Panthers! 🏆🥎
