A woman in the Ukrainian town of Henichesk is being praised for confronting an armed man when Russia invaded. The unidentified woman berates the man, asking why he came to her country "with a weapon." According to the mayor, the town was taken over by Russian soldiers.

Russia’s foreign minister Lavrov said negotiations can begin once Russia “restores democratic order” in Ukraine. As Russian troops neared Kyiv, Ukrainian MP Oleksiy Goncharenko was asked to respond. He had a pretty clear answer.
