First day in pads today for the Kitchener Collegiate Institute Raiders Varsity team!! Starting to feel a little more like football today!!

Hey Waterloo Region DSB WCSSAA your decision to not allow volunteer coaches is ridiculous and does not put the kids first. They have suffered enough the last 2 yrs and you are adding to that by limiting their athletic development and in some cases eliminating their sports teams. Do better!!

Over 1000 hands have been placed on our mural by staff and students to honour and recognize the children who attended residential schools, those that did not survive, and those that have yet to be found. #EveryChildMatters #OrangeShirtDay2021

1 week today the Kitchener Collegiate Institute Raiders Football Squad will return to the field after a long, challenging 2 years for the kids!! The level of excitement at practice today kicked up another notch after we could finally tell the players we officially BACK!! 4 more practices to prepare!

After 2 years we can finally say it’s GAME week!!! Excited for the Kitchener Collegiate Institute Raiders Varsity Football team to be kicking off the return of WCSSAA Senior football against a well coached Jacob Hespeler Hawks team!!

Let’s try this again!! After a 2 year absence, we can finally say it’s GAME week!!! The Kitchener Collegiate Institute Raiders Varsity Football team will take the field Thursday at 430 against the defending Champion Jacob Hespeler Hawks! Tough way to begin the season but the bar will be set!!

Game day is finally here!!! 515 at Jacob Hespeler the Kitchener Collegiate Institute Raiders Varsity football squad kicks off our season against the champs!!!

It wasn’t always pretty but the Kitchener Collegiate Institute Raiders Varsity football team picked up our first win of the season 12-0 against Preston!! Lots of work to be done but it feels good to be 1-1! On to Glenview next week!!

It’s Game Day for our Kitchener Collegiate Institute Raiders Varsity Football Squad as we head to Glenview for a battle of 1-1 teams!! Time to put the game plans and prep work in action and leave with a W!!

As we begin prep for our 2022 travel season, we have our annual Mega Raffle Fundraiser to help cover the costs for our athletes! We have a great list of prizes again, tickets are $20 or 3 for $50 and are available from our players or by email to [email protected]

After 2 tough close losses the Kitchener Collegiate Institute Raiders Varsity Football Team finished the regular season with a strong effort winning 45-7 against GCI to punch our ticket to the playoffs as the #3 seed in our division! Proud of our guys and the effort they displayed today!!

It’s been said before but can’t be said enough. If you’re an adult trying to tell kids what they can and can’t do in their own free time and threatening their position with your team you need serious help! Kids/parents don’t miss out on opportunities, do what is best for you!

I am excited to be able to help grow the women’s football game here by joining the Women’s U18 team as the defensive coordinator!
