As my beloved Snowshill Manor NT has now sadly had to close its doors until further notice it's good to know that we can still get our National Trust fix elsewhere until it reopens.

We’ve closed our parks and gardens to restrict the spread of coronavirus, as well as, built properties. Many of our car parks for countryside and coastal locations are now likely to be closed. We urgently request people to stay local, observe social distancing and to not travel.

I: "Even a stopped clock gives the right time twice a day, and for once I'm inclined to believe Withnail is right. We are indeed drifting into the arena of the unwell. Making an enemy of our own future. What we need is harmony. Fresh air. Stuff like that."

It is 70 years to the day today that my beloved Snowshill Manor NT first opened its doors to the public under National Trust ownership and we continue to look after Mr Wade’s wonderful collection to this day. Here’s to the next 70 years!
