East Africa Champions: UCU has emerged the Champion & Best Overall Team at the Chaloka Beyani International Refugee Law Moot. The team comprised Abraham B. Wanyanga (Best Oralist), Abigail Namanya and Stuart Ssemwogerere, with support from Kamatsiko Desire and Frederick Mongoyi.

This year, my team participated in the Intra-Faculty Moot Court Competition at Uganda Christian University. ⚖️ We were semi-finalists. From 42 teams to 24 in the preliminaries, and only 4 made it to the semi-finals. This was a worthwhile journey of growth & persistence.

I am proud to have been a researcher on the UCU team that emerged East Africa Champions at the 1st Annual Chaloka Beyani International Refugee Law Moot held at Strathmore University, Nairobi. It was a remarkable achievement and truly a testament to hard work and excellence. ⚖️
