Editors, here’s a quick tip to make your videos feel smoother: Use the Rule of Three. Do something twice… then switch it up on the third. Boom, instant impact. Pattern → payoff. Simple, clean, satisfying. Try it on your next edit.

Editors, quick Eye Trace tip: Track where the viewer is looking. Face is usually the focus. If text appears, the eye follows it. When you cut to b-roll, put the key detail in the same spot the viewer was already watching. Use motion and contrast to guide attention. Super simple.

Editors, editing is emotion equals attention. Ask: does this moment land emotionally? Example: burnout clip with “I crashed”. Add a pause, darker b roll, drop music. Focus on one thing: what should the viewer feel right here? Use pacing, music cuts, sfx to push that feeling.

Rhythm & flow in editing. Ask: “What’s the tempo of this moment?” Quit your 9–5 → fast pace. Fear & risk → slow it down. Taking the step → build energy. Do this: • Edit without music • Cut on energy shifts • Repeat a structure, then break it

Subconscious editing = rhythm, timing, silence, intention. Hold emotional moments longer. Pause after heavy lines. Use music that feels right. Let silence breathe. Shape pacing like a heartbeat. When you control rhythm, you control emotion. Your edits start hitting different.
