Believer, God doesn't want you in church today to hear a message or to give you a little something to think about. Rather, God wants to use valid applications of his word to abruptly reshape your character and to noticeably realign your life with his good, pleasing, perfect will.

Incredibly compelling words being spoken at Bush 41's funeral. Attendees are moving from laughs to choked-back tears in seconds. The kind of funeral that makes me want to be a better man.

I don't do it nearly enough, but… even when I never see how praying for someone impacts them, it always shifts something in me. It's harder to be unmoved or ungracious when you're asking God to move and show grace.
