Another option is r-universe (thanks to Jeroen Ooms) which has repositories for source (of course), and binaries (including Ubuntu LTS) # Install quantmod in R: install.packages('quantmod', repos = c('joshuaulrich.r-universe.dev', 'cloud.r-project.org')) joshuaulrich.r-universe.dev/quantmod
