Year 6 children checked the classrooms for recycling boxes this morning. We put pens and glue-sticks in. Pens are dropped off Ryman to be recycled and we are saving glue-sticks to up-cycle them. #ecoschools #recycle #upcycle #makesomethingnew #ecocouncil

Eco club had a go at making ‘cardboard clay’ or cardboard mache, by ripping up a box and soaking it for 24 hours. Then it was liquidised, we squeezed the liquid out and mixed it with glue and a bit of oil. Look at our bowls drying out. We will paint them during our next session.
