We were then supplied with the equipment and tools we needed to make bird boxes which we will use around the school. The children had the opportunity to use drills for the first time to secure the pieces together! Great teamwork on show!

Thank you Sustainable Three Rivers for your presentation last week. It was fun and educational. We learnt how far vegetables travel to reach our plates. It was surprising to learn that there are alternatives that are grown closer to home. If we read the label, we make a better choice!

Our school allotment is very slowly getting there. Due to the cold start of the year, we had a delayed planting but our signs are lovely and bright, made by children in gardening club. #schoolallotment #gardeningclub

Broad beans are growing, as well as peas and pants. Yes, cotton pants…not plants. There is an underwear planted in our allotment as a part of whole school investigation in Science. What will happen to them in 4 months time when we dig them up? How can we link it to Eco Council?
