The Journal Impact Factor is out for 2020 (#JCR2021). Economic Geography has an IF of 11.76. It ranks 2nd out of 377 journals in Economics and 2/85 in Geography. Many thanks to my co-editors, managing editor and, above all, to the authors and the reviewers that have made this possible.

Very pleased to see Economic Geography's IF/ranking rise again. But it is the quality, substance, innovativeness, & diversity of the manuscripts we publish that is truly exciting. TY authors, reviewers, & our editors (Andres, Henry, Hilary, and Jane). Truly a (global) team effort!

As Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak declares support for the right-to-repair movement, here's our new article in Economic Geography: The Commodity and Its Aftermarkets: Products as Unfinished Business w. Chris Gibson tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.10…

Owned and operated by Clark since 1925, Economic Geography is once again ranked at the top of the @clarivate Web of Science journal impact ratings that measure how frequently articles are referenced and influencing scholars around the world. Taylor & Francis Research Insights bit.ly/3l83kdP

Privileged to be at the Durham memorial gathering to celebrate the life and work of Dr (Donald) Gordon MacLeod. In the words of Gary Lachman ‘I am always touched by your presence, dear’.

Clark Geography Professor @AbbyGailFrazier spoke with The New York Times and others about the multiple factors that contributed to this week’s catastrophic #wildfires in #Hawaii. “There’s likely a climate change signal in everything we see,” she said. nytimes.com/2023/08/10/cli…

Thanks Andres. Great news. I am so proud of our team - Henry Yeung, Andrés Rodríguez-Pose, and @JanePollard13, and Hilary Laraba, our fantastic Managing Editor. 10 years into this gig and it continues to be a huge source of intellectual inspiration RE: our field - regardless of IFs!
