Day four: Be adaptable to the needs of the ECT as the year progresses and listen carefully to what they say (or don't say!). They may withhold their true feelings and concerns if they feel they may not succeed. #12daysofChristmas #TopTips #ECFLead Northamptonshire Teaching School Hub Teach First

Day five: Timer saving ⏰ Use the documentation on ECT Manager to guide ECMs and ECTs in preparing for their progress review meeting (saving you, the Lead, LOADS of work at report time). #12daysofChristmas #TopTips #ECFLead Northamptonshire Teaching School Hub Teach First

Day eight: Personalise ✏️ Use the 'Teacher Standards evidence collection form' from ECT Manager. This helps to personalise when writing progress reviews/end-of-year assessments. #12daysofChristmas #TopTips #ECFLead Northamptonshire Teaching School Hub Teach First

Day nine: Relationships mean everything. ECF Leads - have the difficult conversations with ECTs. This allows the Mentor to be just that and maintains their relationship! #12daysofChristmas #TopTips #ECFLead Northamptonshire Teaching School Hub Teach First
